School Activity. Fwg activities were org by AGS, Harka Bahadur in the month of Sep 2017:-
1. Visit. Mrs Bhawna Chopra visited AGS Harka Bahadur on 11 Sep 2017. She interacted with the teachers and distributed gifts to students of AGS, Harka Bahadur.
2. Literacy Week. The Literacy week celebration at AGS, Harka Bahadur was conducted wef 18 to 20 Sep 2017 in which the importance of literacy & education was highlighted. The subjects which were covered during Literacy week are as under:-
(a) Poster Making Competition. Poster making competition for students from 4th to 10th class was conducted and the best three from each class were selected for exhibition.
(b) Spectacle. 02 x students of class 5 presented a demonstration “One Act Play” on the occasion of literacy week.
3. Sports Day. Sports day was celebrated at AGS, Harka Bahadur on 22 Sep 2017 from 0930 hrs to 1230 hrs. The aim of the sports day celebration was to instill a competitive spirit amongst the students to encourage them to take up games and sports & instill sportsmen spirit. Capt R Avinash Reddy, 23 RAJPUT gave away the trophy to the winner team & distributed medals to the Winner & Runners of all the events.
4. Essay Writing Competition. Essay writing competition at AGS, Harka Bahadur was conducted on 25 Sep 2017. A total of 389 students, 18 teachers and 03 staff members participated in the competition.
5. Drawing Competition. Drawing competition at AGS, Harka Bahadur was conducted on 28 Sep 2017 from 1130h to 1230h. A total of 15 students participated in the drawing competition.
6. Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan at AGS, Harka Bahadur & Badgam. The teachers & students of AGS, Harka Bahadur conducted a cleanliness drive in school area on 28 Sep 2017. A total of 13 teachers, 337 students & 05 OR participated in the cleanliness drive. A Lec on cleanliness was conducted at AGS, Harka Bahadur by Capt R Avinash Reddy on 29 Sep 2017.
Tour. A total of 19 x cdts from AGS Harka Bahadur participated in NCC camp i.e CATC wef 18 to 27 Sep 17 at Nagrota. The cdts were trained in basic traits of military life i.e disp, drill, firing etc to make them a good & responsible citizen of our country. During the camp, cdts of AGS, Harka Bahadur came 1st in Drill competition, Gp discussion, Over all Discp & 3rd in Cultural Pgme competition.
(viii) Visit. Brig TK Chopra, Cdr 121 (I) Inf Bde Gp and Mrs Bhawna Chopra, President AWWA, 121 (I) Inf Bde Gp visited AGS, Harka Bahadur on 07 Oct 2017. Brig TK Chopra and Mrs Bhawna Chopra were recd by Col Gaurav Dogra, 23 RAJPUT, Vice Chairman, Management Committee, Mrs Aman Aninder Kaur Gill, Coordinator & Mr Manzoor Hussain, Principal of the school.

Infra Devp Undertaken and Planned.
1. Infra devp projs that were undertaken in the AGS, Harka Bahadur during the the last six months are as given below :-
(a) Provn of 10 KVA Genr. One 10 KVA Genr Set for improvement of power sup at AGS, Harka Bahadur has been installed with an cost of Rs 2,98,500/- (Rupees two lac ninety eight thousand and five hundred only) out of School Fund. The proj is an important step towards provn of uninterrupted power sup to the students during running of the classes.
(b) Electrification and Wiring of Cl Rooms. There was an urgent need for augmentation of present elec fittings at the school. To fulfil this reqmt the task of electrification and wiring was undertaken with a cost of Rs 1,05,159/- (Rupees one lac five thousand one hundred and fifty nine only). The proj has helped providing safe and adequate lighting facility for the students during the school hrs.
(c) Tilling of Class Rooms. The proj for tilling of class-rooms was conceived to provide durable flooring with low maint and cost effective method with the ultimate aim of good hygiene and ambience in the school. Out of 19 rooms of the school the proj for tilling of twelve class rooms were planned in a phased manner. In the first phase tilling of three class rooms have been completed with a cost of Rs 2,65,900/- (Rupees two lac sixty five thousand and nine hundred only).
(d) Proc of Two Mobile Toilet. Cleanliness, hygiene and sanitisation play an important role in preventing infectious disease txn. AGS, Harka Bahadur was having only four fn toilets to cater 457 students. Hence, an urgency was felt for provn of adequate toilets for the students. After a detailed study, two mobile toilets were proc for the school with a cost of Rs 2,88,500/- (Rupees two lac and eighty eight thousand and five hundred only) out of school fund.
(e) Repair of Furniture. The school is holding a total of 245 desks in the class rooms. Over a pd of time due to reg wear and tear, the condition of the desks had deteriorated and students were facing problems during the classes. Hence, a proj for refurbishing and repairing of desks were undertaken. Under the proj, a total of 130 desks were completely refurbished and 54 desks were repaired with a cost of Rs 5,04,920/- (Rupees five lac four thousand nine hundred and twenty only). At present , complete desks of the school have been either refurbished or repaired.
(f) Proc of Misc Items. For day to day functioning of the school, few items have been proc out of school fund, details of which are as under :-

3. Provn of RO Water Purifier at AGS, Harka Bahadur. A RO plant amt to Rs 1,89,500/- (Rupees one lac eighty nine thousand and five hundred only) has been purchased for school children of AGS, Harka Bahadur out of Sadbhavana Fund. The project is an important step towards provision of clean drinking water to the students.
4. Renovation of Washrooms Out of MES Maint Work. One washroom with two toilet seats and two urinal pts have been completely renovated in the school out of MES maint work for the FY 2020-21.
5. Instln of Security Lights. Three security lights have been installed in the school bldg out of MES maint work (E & M) fo the FY 2020-21. The lights have enhanced the security of school premises during night.
6. Instln of Smart Bd. In addn, seven Smarts Bds alongwith a server have been installed in seven classrooms of the school by “17000 Ft Foundation” under “Proj PAHAL”.
7. Purchasae of Ten Computers. Ten Cmptrs with accessories have been installed with a cost of Rs 5,09,000/- (Rupees five lac and nine thousand only) out of School Fund. The proj is an imp step towards imparting good computer knowledge to students who can then exploit all opportunities avbl to shape up his future.
8. Tiling of Nineteen Class Rooms and Corridors. The proj for tiling of Class-Rooms and Corridors was conceived to provide durable flooring with low maint and cost eff method with the ultimate aim of providing good hygiene and ambience in the school. The proj for tiling of nineteen class rooms and Corridors was completed by 31 RAJPUT.
9. Purchase of Moon Tables & Chairs. 18 Moon Tables and 108 Chairs for the students of classes Nursery, LKG and UKG at AGS, Harka Bahadur were procured with an cost of Rs 1,83,600/- (Rupees one lac eighty three thousand and six hundred only) out of School Fund Head of AGS, Harka Bahadur.
10. Instln of Wall Mounted Fan. A total of 26 Rooms exists in AGS, Harka Bahadur to incl classrooms, Principal Office, Clk Office, Staff Room, Library, Computer Room, Laboratory & Auditorium. These iron shelters gets warm during the summer season resulting into inconveniences to the students and staff. Therefore, 47 Wall Mounted Fan will be installed at AGS, Harka Bahadur with a estimated cost of Rs 1,69,200/- (Rupees one lac sixty nine thousand and two hundred only) out of School Fund.
11. Proc of Plastic Dustbin Supreme. Six Plastic Dustbin Supreme will be procured for AGS, Harka Bahadur with an cost of Rs 35,400/- (Rupees thrity five thousand and four hundred only). The proj will help in ensuring cleanliness in the school.
12. Community Radio Station at AGS, Harka Bahadur. Community Radio Station (CRS) is being est in AGS, Harka Bahadur with a aim to broadcast pgme related to edn, devp, social & cultural needs for the local community. The constr of Non-Tech infra has been completed by the unit.
